THE ALZHEIMER CODE

THE ALZHEIMER CODE

THE ALZHEIMER CODE | Deemed incurable by nearly every established medical voice in the world, Alzheimer’s disease is already a leading cause of death in the United States. What if there was a cure that no-one in the medical industry wanted to believe could work because they couldn’t benefit from it financially? Would we be able to explore and discover the potential benefits from such a treatment? Would they be condemned as trying to sell snake oil? What does it take to prove the efficacy of a treatment if there is not one pill or simple, universal treatment that fits within the typical, double blind clinical trial approach? American neurologist Dr. Dale Bredesen has been working to cure hundreds of people suffering from Alzheimer‘s disease, with astonishing results. After 10 years, the survivors are speaking for the first time about the healing successes of the so-called “Bredesen Protocol”, which is now to be tested in a large-scale clinical trial for the first time.

“THE ALZHEIMER CODE” is a feature length documentary that explores the cause, effects and history of Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia. The documentary will follow patients who are just beginning treatment as well as hear from survivors who have been working with the Bredesen Protocol for years. The clinical trial is the central focus for the project, from which the documentary will branch out to explore the complex and emotional journey of all involved.
